Established in July of 1934, the Charles River Yacht Club (“CYRC”) is one of the oldest continually operating yacht clubs in Massachusetts. The CRYC is located on the Cambridge side of the Charles River in the heart of Cambridge, MA. Located directly across from the historic Boston Hatch Shell, the views from the CRYC are spectacular and unrivaled.
We are a non-profit private member club run by its members focused on a family-friendly environment. Our members are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable boating and social experience for its members, as well as their families and guests. Boaters can enjoy a leisurely cruise up the river to Newton or take the 10-minute run to the Charles River locks and gain access to Boston Harbor.
The Club has slips for 72 boats ranging in size up to 50’ with all the amenities to make your boating experience enjoyable. Please know, you don’t have to own a boat to enjoy the Club facilities and benefits. The Club welcomes boaters of all experience levels from seasoned skippers to “this is my first boat.” There are plenty of folks around to lend a helping hand or answer your boating questions. |
